The Minnesota Air National Guard Museum Airpark is OPEN for the season Monday through Saturday, 9 am to 2 pm.

Advance booking is required.


Our museum is located on an active military installation that requires advance booking for security background checks.

TOURS & VISITS

BOOKING REQUIRED

The museum offers an ideal environment for private tours. Members of scouting troops, youth groups, and school children of all ages are regular visitors to the Minnesota Air National Guard Museum. Each group typically receives an individualized tour.

Tours include the outdoor airpark and last about 1.5 hours. These tours are subject to weather conditions.

You will need a security clearance to visit the museum.


BEFORE your visit

    To schedule events: 21 business days in advance of the visit date

Information Requirements

for everyone 18 years and older visiting the museum (subject to change)

  • First, Middle, and Last name as it appears on the government-issued identification for everyone 18 years and older visiting the museum.

    1. The State for IDs or Country for passports where it was issued.

    2. The valid government-issued photo ID number.

    For everyone 18 years and older visiting the museum.

    Valid identifications:

    a. US-issued Enhanced driver’s license or

    b. US-issued Regular driver’s license or

    c. Current U.S. passport (not expired)

    d. Current passport issued in another country and date of entry in the U.S.

  • The complete birthdate (month/day/year) for everyone 18 years and older visiting the museum.

  • Number of persons under 18 years in the group (if applicable)

 

THE DAY OF your visit

  • BRING the valid government-issued photo ID or passport on the day of your visit that matches the information submitted to pass through security.

  • If you have an active military ID or retired military ID (retired after serving 20 or more years), you can visit the museum any time during open hours. A phone call to 612-713-2523 in advance of visit is appreciated.

Cost

Donations are appreciated; the suggested donation is $5.00 per person, free for children under two years.

Donations can be paid upon arrival.  We only accept cash or checks ONSITE

If you prefer to pay with a credit card, please PRE-PAY via our online payment service and bring your receipt on the day of your visit.
